Inspired by 18th century French antiques, the cover features Astier de Villatte’s eponymous floor tile pattern – in vibrant tones, graphic black and whites or subtle pastels. Each one is absolutely one of a kindmade by hand in Paris following18th century manufacturing. Printed on a traditional printing press operated by Mr Huin, one of few remaining typesetters in France.

Each notebook, with gold gilt edges, is absolutely one of a kind colour-way as the pigments are at random mixed on the press during production.
